Catering Guideliness


Food & Nutrition Services is the only approved caterer for hospital functions. Outside vendors should not be used for in-house catering.

Individual Boxed or Single Serve Items should be ordered instead of Bulk Food or Platters (ie. Yogurt Parfait, Salads, Sandwiches)

Hot food choices are not available for meetings held in the Radiology Conf. Room or in the Support Services Building.

Due to Food Safety requirements, leftovers are not to be taken from meetings.

The following time lines should be followed when making catering requests:
A. Snacks – 24 hours advance notice (Ex: Muffins, Coffee, Water)
B. Meals – 48 hours advance notice (Contact Margie or Abby if request is being made less than 48 hours in advance)
C. Special Events – 7 days in advance
 

 

Catering Menu


We will be offering a standardized menu of hot and cold selections.
Additional choices will be offered from the daily cafeteria menu.

Available catering styles are:

A. Snacks

  • Packaged (ie., Asst Chips, Granola Bars or Nutri-Grain Bars, 100 Calorie Snacks Packs, Rice Krispy Treats)

  • Cookies

B. Breakfast

  • Continental

  • Hot Buffet

C. Boxed Lunches

  • Entrée Salads

  • Grilled Chicken Plantation Salad

  • Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

  • Fried Country Chicken Salad

  • Grilled Shrimp Salad

  • Entrée Sandwiches

  • Club Sandwich Platter

  • Turkey Apple Slaw Wrap

  • Chicken Caesar Wrap

  • Ranch Chicken Wrap

  • Ham, Turkey or Roast Beef on Ciabatta or Focaccia Bread

D. Buffet (Limited to One Entrée with appropriate sides)

  • Paneed Chicken Breast

  • Grilled Chicken Breast

  • Grilled Pork Loin

  • Grilled or Fried Catfish

Beverages Choices

A. Pitchers of tea, water, lemonade or punch.

  • Soft Drinks and Bottled Water will not be available

B. Coffee

  • Asst Juices & Milk (for Breakfast)

E. Plated

  • Limited to Special Events

  • Call for Menu Selections

 

Catering Instructions


 
1. Go Into Client Server
 

2. Click on Requisitions
 

3. Click “Enter” on Right Side
 

4. At Ordering Location – Open the drop down box & choose your
department from the list.
 

5.Then Enter
 

6. Skip Stock Room Location
 

7.Click on the “+” by Dietary Catering to Expand
 

8. Click in the “” by New and it will place a check mark in the box
 

9.Then click on “Select” at the bottom of the Page
 

10.Manage Order List will come up
 

11.Click box by first Routine --- Edit with an “*” will appear on the Right side, Click

on it.


12. The Actual Catering Form will open
 

13. Fill in all the Fields by using Drop Down Boxes or Typing Appropriate Information
 

14. In the Bottom Box at the Bottom Enter Date & Time the Same as meeting
 

15. When complete click “OK” on the bottom right
 

16. This will take you back to Manage Order Page – Make sure the first order is still checked then click “Save” on the bottom right.
 

17. The order is complete and should print to the Dietary printer.
